A sudden closure of an IT company in Pune's Hinjawadi IT hub has left more than 700 employees without jobs. Professionals working at Thynk Tech India allege they have not received their salaries and have been issued bounced cheques. The company abruptly ceased operations, leaving staff scrambling for answers regarding their employment and outstanding payments.
Workers have lodged complaints with police and labor authorities, seeking intervention to recover dues. The company, which had recruited hundreds of software engineers and interns in 2025, reportedly began experiencing financial difficulties earlier this year. Salary delays escalated to non-payment from February onwards, despite management assurances of resolution.
Many employees discovered the office was locked upon arrival, with no response from senior management. The situation worsened as some employees reported their salary cheques had bounced, exacerbating financial hardships. Investigations are currently underway by police and labor department officials.
