Protean eGov Profit Soars Nearly 49% YoY

Protean eGov Technologies has reported a highly successful fourth quarter for fiscal year 2026, concluding on March 31, 2026. The company's consolidated revenue from operations reached ₹307.54 crore, marking a substantial 38.4% increase from the ₹222.15 crore recorded in the same quarter of the prior year. This robust growth also represented a significant sequential improvement.

The company's profitability saw a dramatic surge, with net profit climbing by 48.9% year-on-year to ₹30.38 crore during the March 2026 quarter. This strong performance extended to the full fiscal year 2026, during which total income grew by 17.8% to ₹1,070.60 crore, and annual net profit increased to ₹100.59 crore from ₹92.46 crore in FY25.

Despite an increase in total expenses, driven by higher processing charges, employee benefits, and system implementation costs, Protean eGov maintained healthy margin expansion. The company also reported an exceptional item impact of ₹4.70 crore in FY26 related to statutory adjustments from new labor codes.
