Summary
- Primm family partners with Terrible's to operate resorts.
- Closure averted, preserving jobs and family legacy.
- New airport near Primm boosts future development prospects.

The Primm family has secured a new operating partner, Terrible's, to manage its hotel-casino and associated properties in Primm, Nevada, averting a July 4 closure. This move is seen as crucial for preserving the founder's legacy and preventing the resorts from becoming a ghost town.
Previously, Affinity Interactive and its owner, Z Capital, had cited unviability as a casino operation and unsuccessful investment efforts for the planned closure. This would have resulted in 344 employees losing their jobs, adding to previous closures like Whiskey Pete's and limited operations at Buffalo Bill's Resort & Casino.
Cory Clemetson, grandson of the founder, expressed that his grandfather would have been mortified by the closure on a holiday. He emphasized the importance of a responsible transition for the employees. The new partnership aims to revitalize the destination, with potential renovations and infrastructure improvements planned.
The future prospects for Primm are further bolstered by the development of the Southern Nevada Supplemental Airport (SNSA) nearby, expected to begin construction by 2029. Clemetson remains optimistic about the long-term potential, aiming to restore Primm to its former glory.
