PMVBRY Boosts Jobs: Nagpur & Chandrapur See Major Support

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is set to host significant incentive disbursement ceremonies in Nagpur and Chandrapur on June 19. These events are part of the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana (PMVBRY), a key government initiative focused on generating employment opportunities.
The scheme aims to promote job creation, foster economic prosperity, and expand social security coverage nationwide. A national-level event will occur in New Delhi, with regional programs like those in Nagpur and Chandrapur complementing the rollout. Approximately ₹2,400 crore in benefits will be distributed to eligible beneficiaries across the country.
Further promoting the scheme, around 200 similar events will be organized in major industrial and employment hubs. The Chandrapur ceremony is scheduled at The Chandrapur District Central Co-operative Bank. Under PMVBRY, first-time employees are eligible for incentives up to ₹15,000, while employers receive support for creating additional jobs, thereby encouraging formal sector growth.
