Summary
- CEO Sundar Pichai could earn $692 million over three years.
- Pay is linked to performance of Waymo and Wing businesses.
- Base salary remains $2 million annually, unchanged since 2020.

Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai has a new three-year equity compensation plan that could yield up to $692 million (approximately Rs 6,200 crore).
A substantial part of this potential earnings package is directly linked to the performance of two key Alphabet ventures: Waymo, the self-driving technology company, and Wing, the drone delivery service.
Pichai could receive up to $260 million tied to Waymo's valuation and $90 million linked to Wing's equity units over the three-year cycle.
Further incentives include up to $252 million based on Alphabet's shareholder returns relative to the S&P 100 index. An additional $84 million equity component is time-based, contingent on his continued employment.
Pichai's base salary of $2 million per year remains unchanged since 2020, with most of his compensation now tied to company and venture performance.
