Summary
- Customer awarded ₹95,000 refund plus 9% interest.
- Park Club failed to provide promised 4-5 star hotel accommodation.
- Company also ordered to pay ₹15,000 for harassment and expenses.

A consumer court in Chandigarh has mandated Park Club International Pvt Ltd to refund ₹95,000 to a dissatisfied customer. The company will also pay 9% annual interest on this amount and ₹15,000 for mental distress and legal costs.
The customer had paid ₹1.10 lakh for a five-year holiday membership, which promised 36 nights at 4-5 star properties. However, Park Club allegedly failed to deliver these services, offering only three-star accommodations and demanding upgrade fees.
Further issues included the company's failure to provide promised meals and confirm bookings as per the membership terms. The commission noted that the company did not contest the customer's evidence, which included booking confirmations and payment proofs.
The company has been given 45 days to comply with the order. Failure to do so will result in an increased interest rate of 12% per annum on the principal amount from September 1, 2026.
