Palantir has announced exceptionally strong financial results for its second quarter, causing its stock to climb significantly. The company reported revenue of $1.94 billion for the three months ending June 30, marking a 93% increase compared to the same period last year and exceeding analyst expectations. Its net income also surpassed projections, reaching roughly $1.1 billion, or 41 cents per share.
The impressive growth was primarily driven by a substantial jump in U.S. operations, with commercial revenue rising 149% and government revenue increasing by 90% year-over-year. CEO Alex Karp highlighted this unprecedented compounding rate, noting that the second-quarter net income alone surpassed the company's total revenue from the previous year.
Looking ahead, Palantir provided an optimistic outlook. The company anticipates third-quarter revenue to range between $2.160 billion and $2.164 billion. Furthermore, Palantir has substantially increased its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to between $8.150 billion and $8.158 billion, a significant upward revision from its earlier forecast.
