Kenneth Andrade, a veteran fund manager known for his mid-cap expertise, launched the Old Bridge Focused Fund in January 2024.
Since its inception, the fund has garnered over Rs 3,995 crore in assets under management and delivered a compounded average growth rate (CAGR) of 14.7% as of August 17, 2026.
During the first quarter of 2026, which saw market turbulence, the fund limited its drawdown to -11.9% by maintaining 10-17% in cash and focusing on value-oriented stocks.
Following this period, from April 1 to August 14, 2026, the fund gained 25.0%, supported by its value-conscious strategy and a significant allocation to large-cap stocks.
The fund's success is attributed to its disciplined investment philosophy, which identifies early-cycle businesses with strong leadership and growth potential, employing a buy-and-hold strategy with strict timing for trades.
Currently holding 24 stocks, the fund blends value and growth styles, with approximately 49% allocated to small and mid-caps, aiming for continued wealth creation over a minimum five-year horizon.
