NSE Listing Fees Soar Despite Fewer IPOs
19 Jun
Summary
- NSE listing services revenue reached ₹352 crore in FY26.
- Revenue increased 12% despite a drop in IPO numbers.
- Larger companies going public drove higher book-building fees.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) in India experienced a significant boost in its listing services revenue, reporting ₹352 crore for the fiscal year 2026. This represents a 12% increase compared to the ₹314 crore earned in the preceding year. This financial growth occurred despite a decrease in the total number of initial public offerings (IPOs), which fell from 242 to 219.
The exchange's revenue from listing services, which includes initial listing fees, annual fees, processing charges, and book-building fees, saw its contribution to NSE's total operating revenue increase. In FY26, this segment accounted for 2.12% of the ₹16,601 crore operating revenue, up from 1.83% in FY25 and 1.51% in FY24. The increase in earnings is largely due to larger companies undertaking public issues, thereby contributing more through book-building fees.
