Summary
- Supreme Court panel appointed to revive stalled Supernova project.
- EY appointed as forensic auditor for Supertech entities.
- Homebuyer verification underway for 497 buyers in residential towers.

An empowered committee, appointed by the Supreme Court, has commenced efforts to revive the Supernova project in Noida, a prominent stalled real estate development. The committee, operational since late December 2025, has assumed control of Supertech Limited's affairs following a December 16, 2025 court order.
The revival plan prioritizes the Supernova project, featuring the ambitious Spira Tower. This mixed-use development aims to integrate residences, serviced apartments, offices, and hospitality. Currently, a verification process is in progress for 497 homebuyers in the Nova East and West towers, with 15 cases already cleared.
Ernst & Young has been appointed as the forensic auditor for Supertech Realtors Private Limited and its parent company. This audit will scrutinize financial transactions to guide the resolution framework. Structural audits for key assets like Spira Tower and Hypernova Mall are also planned, involving institutions like CBRI Roorkee and IIT Delhi.
The committee expressed confidence in reviving the project and restoring confidence among stakeholders. The Supernova project's resolution is being closely watched as a test case for court-driven interventions in stressed housing projects within the Delhi-NCR region.
