- Nine new substations to be operational within six months.

Noida's power infrastructure is undergoing significant upgrades to ensure a robust electricity supply for the upcoming peak summer season. As part of the RDSS and SCADA modernisation schemes, the power department has successfully enhanced the capacity of the 33/11 kV substations in Sectors 79 and 80.
Two new 10 MVA transformers were installed, one in each sector, and have passed all trials and testing, becoming fully operational. This upgrade is anticipated to improve the electricity distribution for more than 20,000 consumers in these sectors and surrounding areas, ensuring they can meet higher demand during warmer months.
This development is a step in a broader modernization plan for Noida's power network. Officials have stated that nine new 33/11 kV substations are expected to be operational within the next six months. Additionally, work is in progress to enhance the capacity of ten existing substations.
Further bolstering the grid, 12 more 10 MVA transformers are being installed across the city, along with 556 distribution transformers of 250 kVA. This multi-year initiative, scheduled to continue until 2027, aims to guarantee a reliable and efficient power supply throughout Noida.
