This year, the state has proactively filed applications for over one million New Jersey residents. The ANCHOR program targets individuals who own or rent property in New Jersey as their primary residence and fall within specified income brackets. Residents who have not yet applied can still do so online using the ID.me verification system. A new application, ANC-1, is available for qualifying homeowners and renters. Senior residents or those receiving disability benefits can utilize the combined application, PAS-1. The deadline to submit a new application is November 2, 2026. Recipients can check their application status online.
