- Nippon AMC gained 1.76% market share in mutual funds.

- Nippon's Q1FY27 profit grew 27%, outpacing peers.
Nippon AMC has emerged as the fastest-growing asset management company among the top ten players, significantly increasing its market share.
By June 2026, Nippon's total mutual fund AUM reached ₹7.5 lakh crore, with its market share climbing to 9.04% from 7.28% in June 2023.
This growth is driven by a strategic shift towards higher-margin equity assets, which now constitute 41% of its total AUM, up from 29% in June 2020.
Commodity ETFs have also expanded their share to 11%, while debt funds have seen a considerable decrease in their AUM contribution.
Nippon's systematic investment plan (SIP) inflows have surged, growing from ₹1,940 crore in FY22 to ₹10,590 crore in FY26.
The company is also cultivating a more stable asset base, with 45% of its SIP AUM remaining invested for over five years.
Financially, Nippon reported a 27% year-on-year profit increase in Q1FY27, reaching a record ₹504 crore, outpacing its major listed competitors.
This strong performance is supported by an active-passive AUM mix that balances scale with higher revenue generation potential.
Despite a higher P/E ratio compared to peers, Nippon's robust earnings growth justifies its valuation, indicating efficient capital utilization.
