26 Jun
Summary
- Nifty Copper Complex Phase 1 restart is nearing completion.
- Sulphuric acid deliveries have recommenced after 18 years.
- Heap leach and solution systems are undergoing testing and commissioning.

Cyprium Metals Ltd is making significant progress on the Phase 1 Cathode Restart at its Nifty Copper Complex in Western Australia. The project is transitioning from construction to completion, with a focus on commissioning and operational readiness.
A crucial development was the successful commissioning of a new acid storage terminal, enabling the restart of sulphuric acid deliveries in late May. This marks the first acid supply to the site since the SXEW plant ceased operations in 2006.
Preparations for heap leaching are also advancing. This includes the installation of necessary piping and the testing of solution systems. A direct injection leaching trial is also underway to potentially increase the volume of material being leached.
The company is also working on technical and commercial plans to support future growth, alongside the ongoing operational readiness activities at Nifty.
