This approved project spans 46 kilometers and is slated for completion within three years. It includes crucial infrastructure like a major bridge over the Vedavati River and numerous smaller bridges. The initiative is designed to substantially improve freight movement and passenger services.
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw highlighted that this development is part of a larger strategy to create a seamless economic railway corridor across North Karnataka. The project is expected to drive industrial growth and enhance logistics capabilities in the region, marking a significant step in India's infrastructure development.
