State-owned NBCC has recently secured four new contracts valued at Rs 501.45 crore, expanding its project management and construction portfolio. A significant portion of this value comes from a contract to construct 2,256 science laboratories for government schools in Rajasthan, undertaken on a turnkey basis for the Rajasthan Council of School Education.
Further strengthening its order book, NBCC also received a Rs 60.61-crore engineering contract from Bharat Electronics Limited. This project involves creating infrastructure facilities. Additionally, the company was awarded two corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative contracts by Power Finance Corporation.
These CSR projects, totaling over Rs 10 crore, include the construction of a state-of-the-art facilitation center for tourists in Aizawl, Mizoram, and a school building under Phase II in Bambolim, Goa. The successful acquisition of these diverse contracts underscores NBCC's broad capabilities across educational, infrastructure, and community development sectors.
