At 28, Navya Naveli Nanda has begun her corporate journey, working alongside her father, Nikhil Nanda, at the engineering company Escorts Kubota. She is determined to establish an identity separate from the prominent Bachchan-Nanda lineage.
Speaking at a recent book launch, Nanda articulated that Gen Z seeks purpose, emphasizing a strong desire among young people to contribute to society, women, and themselves. She also noted that technology presents new uncertainties, such as artificial intelligence's impact on careers, but believes this generation is developing resilience.
Nanda advocates for gender equality, viewing it as creating a "blueprint" for women to define their own lives. She also highlighted the crucial role men play in fostering a more equal society. Her own ambitions are influenced by her late grandmother, Ritu Nanda, and her mother, Shweta Bachchan Nanda.
Beyond her involvement with Escorts Kubota, Nanda co-founded Aara Health, a women's wellness platform, and established Project Naveli, a non-profit dedicated to gender equality. She is also co-authoring a book on Gen Z stereotypes.
