The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has significantly boosted services on the Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor. Eight new train trips have been introduced during peak morning and evening hours to accommodate rising passenger demand.
This enhancement aims to strengthen public transport accessibility, especially as advisories encourage reduced reliance on private vehicles. The corridor, spanning 82.15 km from Sarai Kale Khan to Modipuram, now records an average daily ridership of approximately one lakh commuters.
Fares for the Namo Bharat train range from a minimum of INR 20 to a maximum of INR 210 for standard coaches. Passengers opting for premium coaches will incur an additional 20% charge. The train makes 14 stops between Sarai Kale Khan and Modipuram Depot.
