Muthoot Finance Limited's Board of Directors has recommended Alexander George to assume the role of Managing Director, effective October 1, 2026, subject to shareholder approval.
George Alexander Muthoot, currently the Managing Director, will transition to Executive Vice Chairman. In his new capacity, he will offer strategic direction and mentorship as the company embarks on its next growth phase.
Alexander George has been instrumental in driving digital transformation, enhancing customer experience, and strengthening the brand. His leadership has helped build a future-ready organization.
The Board also proposed K. R. Bijimon's elevation to Chief Executive Officer from his current position as Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer.
These leadership changes coincide with Muthoot Finance's sustained business growth. As of June 30, 2026, the company's consolidated Loan Assets Under Management surpassed ₹1.91 trillion, and its consolidated profit after tax for FY25-26 reached a historic ₹106.06 billion.
