On April 22, 2026, a historic Art Deco bungalow known as Leela, located in Juhu and owned by the Nanavati family, was sold for ₹221 crore to Notandas Realty. This Grade IIB heritage property, built in the 1950s, stands on a 1,355 sq m plot and offers extensive living space and a large garden.
In another significant transaction, the Kapadia family sold their legacy bungalow, Dwarka Bungalow, situated on Linking Road in Santacruz West. The buyer, Vageshwari Properties Private Limited, has a director associated with Reliance Industries Limited. Documents revealed a stamp duty payment of ₹9.8 crore for this purchase in November 2025.
Further bolstering the market, a bungalow purchased on March 31, 2025, from United Spirits involved a substantial land area of 1,911 sq mtrs. The buyer, ZYJ Estates LLP, paid ₹12.23 crore in stamp duty for this property, which includes a ground-plus-two bungalow spanning 18,844 sq ft.
