Mumbai's urban expansion is pushing into the Raigad district, a phenomenon termed Mumbai 3.0. This growth is concentrating on areas like Alibaug and Karjat, bolstered by new infrastructure projects. The Mumbai Trans Harbour Link and upcoming developments are rerouting city growth.
The Panvel-Karjat suburban rail corridor, a Rs 2,782 crore project, is over 90% complete and expected to open by December 2026. This line will significantly reduce travel times and alleviate congestion on existing routes.
Karjat is emerging as a prime investment location. Sensation Fortune Varalakshmi Private Limited is developing "Svaasa," a 54.5-acre plotted development on Karjat's lakefront. Arbour has invested ₹85 crore in this project.
Arbour's investment in Svaasa underscores its strategy to institutionalize mid-market real estate through transparency and governance. Svaasa features 500 residential plots and is registered with RERA, with its layout sanctioned by MSRDC.
This partnership aims to enhance trust and transparency in India's mid-market real estate sector, leveraging Arbour's proprietary investment monitoring system, AIMS.
