Fanatics Inc., a sportswear licensing and manufacturing firm, is also engaged with Auger, having deployed a proof of concept using the company's tools. Auger's product, an autonomous operating system, is designed to integrate with existing enterprise, warehouse, and transportation management systems. It leverages artificial intelligence to analyze operational data and execute actions autonomously.
Clark, who previously led Flexport Inc. before stepping down in 2023, stated his vision for Auger was to build the necessary contextual infrastructure for cohesive supply chain operations. The Bellevue, Washington-based company currently has around 100 employees. Clark emphasized the challenging nature of supply chain management, describing it as a 'contact sport' due to daily disruptions.
