Virginia's Attorney General, Jay Jones, pledged a thorough review, prioritizing Virginians and advocating for transparency and accountability to protect ratepayers.
As a gesture to mitigate concerns, the companies have proposed $2.25 billion in bill credits for Dominion customers in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina over the first two years post-merger. These credits will be shareholder-funded, ensuring no direct cost to customers.
