Maruti Suzuki India reported a significant year-over-year increase in its sales figures for December 2025. The company's total sales reached 217,854 units, marking a 22.21% rise from the 178,248 units sold in December 2024. This growth was primarily fueled by a strong performance in the domestic market.
Domestic sales, which include commercial vehicles and supplies to Toyota Kirloskar, totaled 192,115 units last month, a notable increase from the 140,829 units recorded in the previous year. Passenger vehicle sales within India were particularly strong, with 178,646 units sold in December 2025, compared to 130,117 units in the same month of 2024.
Despite the overall positive trend, Maruti Suzuki's vehicle exports saw a decrease, falling to 25,739 units in December 2025 from 37,419 units in December 2024. This contrasts with the strong domestic sales, which benefited from increased demand across mini, compact, and utility vehicle segments.
