MakeMyTrip Rewards Content, Not Followers

MakeMyTrip has introduced 'Creator Circle,' a new program in partnership with Meta, designed to reward Instagram travel creators. This initiative focuses on compensating creators for the engagement their content generates, rather than solely on their follower count. To be eligible, creators must have a minimum of 10,000 followers.

The shift towards creator-led content significantly influences modern travel decisions, especially among younger demographics. Recognizing this trend, MakeMyTrip aims to empower creators by providing them with travel insights and trend information to produce more relevant and impactful content for potential travelers. This program rewards creators based on content performance, engagement metrics, and campaign participation, potentially unlocking perks like bonus multipliers and travel incentives.

The partnership with Meta aims to leverage the strength of micro-influencers who often foster stronger engagement within niche communities. By focusing on genuine connection and audience trust, MakeMyTrip seeks to identify creators who can best tell travel stories. Collective Artists Network's creator platform, Galleri5, will support creators with data and insights to enhance content relevance. MakeMyTrip recently hosted an event for over 100 travel and lifestyle creators to promote the program, with Meta providing educational resources and masterclasses.
