Mahindra Bolero and Bolero Neo Facelifts Debut with Refined Looks and Features

Mahindra, the Indian automotive giant, has recently launched the 2025 iterations of its popular Bolero and Bolero Neo SUVs in the country. Both models have received a subtle facelift, with a focus on enhancing their rugged and no-nonsense appeal while introducing some modern features.

The updated Bolero retains its iconic silhouette but features a few key changes. The front grille now sports a fresh design with chrome slats, while the bumpers have been redesigned to incorporate built-in fog lamps. The SUV also rides on new 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and is available in a new Stealth Black color option. Inside, the Bolero boasts leatherette seats, a 17.8 cm touchscreen infotainment system, and steering-mounted controls. Mahindra has also improved the ride comfort with a new RideFlo suspension setup.

The Bolero Neo, on the other hand, receives a slightly different set of updates. Upfront, it features a grille with chrome inserts, new headlamps with LED daytime running lights, and 16-inch alloy wheels. The bumper has been redesigned with a silver accent and fog lamps, while the signature tailgate-mounted spare wheel remains at the rear. The interior of the Bolero Neo now sports a dual-tone beige and black cabin, a 9-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a rearview camera, and a USB Type-C charging port.

Both the Bolero and Bolero Neo are powered by Mahindra's familiar diesel engines. The Bolero is equipped with a 1.5-litre mHawk 75 diesel unit that produces 75 hp and 210 Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Bolero Neo, on the other hand, gets a more powerful 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder mHawk 100 diesel engine that generates 100 hp and 260 Nm, also mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Mahindra has also fine-tuned the suspension and brakes on the Bolero Neo for a smoother driving experience.

The 2025 Bolero is priced starting at Rs 7.99 lakh, while the Bolero Neo range starts at Rs 8.49 lakh, making them competitively positioned in the rugged SUV segment.
