MACOM Technology Solutions Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:MTSI) has reported strong financial performance for its second quarter of 2026. The company announced a total revenue of $289 million, marking a significant 22.5% increase compared to the same period last year and a 6.4% rise from the previous quarter. This figure also surpassed Wall Street's expectations of $285.2 million.
The company's growth was broadly supported across its business segments. Notably, the Data Center segment achieved $98.2 million in revenue, reflecting a sequential increase of approximately 14.5%. Management attributed this surge to heightened demand for pluggable optical modules and increased cable production volumes, driven by accelerated AI infrastructure spending.
Further boosting its financial standing, MACOM reported an adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $1.09, an improvement from $1.02 in the prior quarter and $0.85 a year ago. This performance exceeded the expected $1.07 EPS. The company also saw its gross margin expand to 58.5% on an adjusted basis, up 90 basis points from the previous quarter, benefiting from economies of scale and enhanced manufacturing efficiencies.
