Lodha Developers is making a substantial investment of Rs 1.3 lakh crore to establish a massive 2.5 gigawatt data centre park in Palava, near Mumbai. This project marks a strategic expansion for the real estate firm and is poised to become the largest data centre facility in India.
The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra government for an additional Rs 1 lakh crore investment towards this endeavor. This latest agreement follows a previous Rs 30,000 crore commitment made in September 2025, bringing the total investment commitment to Rs 1.3 lakh crore.
This expansive data centre park, slated to be the largest in the country, will occupy a portion of Lodha's 5,000-acre township. The project is projected to generate over 16,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities. It will be developed under the Maharashtra government's Green Integrated Data Centre Park policy.
