Last month, the 5th annual Palm Beach CorpGov Forum took place on November 5-6, 2025. The two-day event brought together an array of speakers from the worlds of corporate governance, activism, IPOs, private equity, and venture capital.
One of the key topics discussed at the forum was the current state and increasing activity of venture capital investment in Mexico and Latin America. Panelists explored the diverse investment opportunities emerging in the region, including the growth of US-educated founders who are gaining experience in the US and then starting companies back in Latin America, particularly in sectors like banking and e-commerce.
The event's keynote speaker was Josh Frank, Partner and Co-Investment Officer at Trian Fund Management. Frank addressed the forum's audience of over 300 attendees, which included institutional investors, board directors, family offices, attorneys, and investment bankers.
