Krystal Solar Energy SPV has secured a substantial contract valued at ₹138 crore from the Directorate of Medical Education & Research, Maharashtra. This agreement focuses on establishing rooftop solar infrastructure throughout government healthcare facilities statewide.
The project scope encompasses the complete lifecycle, including design, engineering, installation, testing, and sustained operation and maintenance of grid-connected solar photovoltaic systems. These will be deployed across numerous government hospitals and medical colleges in Maharashtra.
This initiative will operate under a Built-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) model, with a comprehensive contract duration of 25 years. The implementation of these solar systems is expected to yield long-term operational savings for government institutions, contributing to energy efficiency and cost optimization within public healthcare. It also aligns with India's broader commitment to increasing the adoption of sustainable and green energy solutions, thereby reducing the carbon footprint.
