Kravin Hot Chicken: A Double Menu Delight Arrives

Kravin Hot Chicken is scheduled to open its doors next week at the corner of Hoosick and 15th streets in Troy. Previously known as Smack n' Chick, the restaurant will feature a distinctive dual menu. This includes Nashville-style spicy fried chicken, prepared with cayenne-based sauce and available in three heat levels or with lemon-pepper seasoning. Additionally, Kravin Hot Chicken will serve halal platters and gyros, offering options like chicken, lamb, fish, or falafel with rice and salad.

Co-founder Navid Manzoor stated that the concept of offering both Nashville hot chicken and halal fare in one establishment is a key differentiator. He believes this dual offering will appeal to a wider customer base who appreciate having diverse choices. Manzoor moved to the Capital Region last year to oversee the renovation and opening of the Troy location and a second planned site in Colonie.
