Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Ltd experienced a marginal decrease in net profit for the December quarter (Q3) of the fiscal year, a slight decline of 1.8% compared to the same period last year, resulting in ₹53.3 crore.
However, the company demonstrated growth in its top line, with revenue from operations inching up by 0.7% year-on-year to ₹1,618 crore. This modest revenue increase was accompanied by improved operational profitability.
Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) saw a healthier increase of 7.5% year-on-year, reaching ₹186.3 crore. This resulted in an improved EBITDA margin of 11.5%, up from 10.8% in the prior year's comparable quarter.
