KFC is embarking on a comprehensive brand transformation, which includes the introduction of new restaurant designs and an expanded menu. The fried-chicken giant announced a new generation of restaurant spaces, prioritizing hospitality and adaptability throughout the day.
The first manifestation of this new design is an "Open House" prototype set to open in McKinney, Texas, in late summer. This location aims to blend the brand's heritage with modern energy and will feature table service, a drive-thru, and takeout options.
In tandem with the new store concepts, KFC is enhancing its menu with more than 20 new sauces, offering flavors like Chimichurri Ranch and Hot Honey Habanero. Additionally, the "KWENCH by KFC" initiative, already active in some countries, introduces Boba Refreshers, Shakes, Sparkling Lemonades, and Iced Coffees.
The company's "Saucy! by KFC" concept, which focuses on chicken wings, has expanded from its initial launch in Orlando, Florida, to 10 other locations and is planned for expansion into Texas. Even Colonel Sanders' iconic image is receiving a modern update to resonate with contemporary culture, while retaining the brand's core ethos.
