Karnataka has approved 39 industrial projects valued at Rs 4,824.31 crore, a move expected to create 14,525 new jobs across the state. The 158th State Level Single Window Approval Committee meeting greenlit investments in 13 districts.
These projects cover a broad spectrum of industries, including IT infrastructure, sugar manufacturing, technical textiles, compressed biogas, aerospace, jewellery, electronics, software, and five-star hotel construction. Major investments are earmarked for significant ventures.
Among the approved projects, 22 are large-scale with investments exceeding Rs 50 crore, totaling Rs 3,908.68 crore and promising 12,475 jobs. Additionally, 15 projects ranging from Rs 15 crore to Rs 50 crore will add Rs 350.60 crore and 1,750 jobs.
Notable approved projects include IT infrastructure development by Bagmane Constructions (Rs 494.65 crore), a sugar factory by Karnataka Bangaru Sugars (Rs 443.50 crore), and a technical textile unit by Kleine Pax Ltd (Rs 376 crore).
