Pamela Tseng is set to assume the role of Chief Operating Officer for Asia at Julius Baer, with her appointment effective November 16, 2026. She will be based in Singapore and will work alongside the outgoing COO, Andreas Zingg, during a transition period. Zingg is retiring after a distinguished 23-year tenure, during which he significantly contributed to developing the bank's operational infrastructure in Asia and led major transformation programs.
Tseng brings a wealth of experience from her previous positions, including global COO for private banking at Standard Chartered Bank, where she also served as COO for wealth solutions and affluent banking. Earlier in her career, she held senior positions at Citi in New York and Hong Kong, and worked with Accenture in Singapore and Beijing. Tseng expressed her honor in joining Julius Baer at a time of significant opportunity for its Asia business, aiming to strengthen the operating platform and enhance client experience.
This appointment follows other recent executive changes at Julius Baer Group. In July, Peter Burrill was named Chief Financial Officer and executive board member. Tseng's role will involve reporting to Jean Nabaa, chief operating officer, and Jimmy Lee, Asia region head, as the bank continues to pursue its long-term strategic ambitions in the region.
