JK Tyre & Industries announced an impressive 80.2% year-on-year surge in consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter of FY26, totaling ₹178 crore, up from ₹99 crore in the same period last year. This financial success was underpinned by robust volume growth, an enhanced product mix, and effective cost optimization strategies.
Revenue from operations for the quarter rose by 12.4% to ₹4,223.4 crore, compared to ₹3,758.6 crore in the prior year. Correspondingly, EBITDA increased by 47.9% to ₹537.1 crore, boosting the EBITDA margin to 12.7% from 9.7% in the previous year's comparable quarter.
Chairman and Managing Director Raghupati Singhania highlighted FY26 as a landmark year, marked by record volumes and the highest-ever annual consolidated revenue of ₹16,384 crore. He also noted a 25% increase in annual EBITDA, reaching ₹2,089 crore. Buoyant domestic demand, supported by economic reforms and increased economic activity, fueled this growth, with sales volumes in India growing 21% year-on-year in Q4.
The company's strategic focus on capacity expansion and higher value-added products positions it for continued profitable growth in FY27, despite anticipated input cost challenges. The board has recommended a dividend of ₹4 per equity share for FY26.
