Jersey Mike's has emerged as the new leader in customer satisfaction among quick-service restaurants, according to the recent American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) report. The sub chain achieved a score of 84 out of 100, surpassing last year's top performer, Chick-fil-A, which scored 83. This marks the first time in over a decade that a different chain has held the top position in this category.
The ACSI report, compiled from more than 16,000 surveys conducted between April 2025 and March 2026, lauded Jersey Mike's for its ability to sustain high customer satisfaction while undergoing significant expansion. The chain's operational model, which emphasizes throughput and convenient off-premise options like digital pickup, has been a key factor in its success.
Founded in 1956 in New Jersey, Jersey Mike's now operates over 4,000 locations across the U.S. and Canada. While Chick-fil-A was displaced from its long-held number one spot, it remains highly regarded. Following Jersey Mike's and Chick-fil-A, Jimmy John's and Panda Express tied for third place with scores of 81.
