The park will feature essential infrastructure such as a common facility center, reeling and training centers, and a selling point near the national highway, all designed to promote Gopalpur's renowned silk items.
This development builds upon the existing recognition of Gopalpur tussar, which received a Geographical Indication (GI) tag in 2009. Initiatives like the Mukhyamantri Bayan Jyoti Yojana scheme have already provided support to around 2,000 weavers, equipping them with essential tools like inverters and lighting, underscoring the commitment to leveraging the region's skilled artistry.
