IREDA Sees 41% Profit Surge and 26% Revenue Growth in Q2 FY26

In the second quarter of the fiscal year 2026, the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) has reported impressive financial results. The company's consolidated net profit has rallied by a remarkable 41.67%, reaching Rs 549.33 crore, compared to the same period last year. This surge in profitability can be attributed to a 26.24% increase in total revenue from operations, which stood at Rs 2,057.28 crore.
Furthermore, IREDA's profit before tax (PBT) has also seen a substantial jump of 51.41%, reaching Rs 696.39 crore during the quarter. The company's operating profit has also increased by 54%, from Rs 503 crore in Q2 FY25 to Rs 776 crore in the current quarter. Additionally, the cost of borrowing has declined to 7.24% in Q2 FY26, down from 7.80% in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
On a half-year basis, IREDA's net profit has added 3% to Rs 796 crore, while its revenue has risen by 28% to Rs 4,004 crore in H1 FY26 compared to the same period last year.
