Info Edge (India) Ltd announced on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, that its Committee of Executive Directors has approved an investment of approximately ₹30 crore in Startup Investments (Holding) Ltd (SIHL). SIHL is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Info Edge. The investment will be executed through the subscription of 14,01,214 compulsorily convertible debentures (CCDs) at ₹214.10 per CCD, paid in cash. This transaction ensures SIHL remains a wholly-owned subsidiary.
SIHL, based in New Delhi, reported nil turnover for the financial year ending March 31, 2025, with a profit after tax of ₹0.86 crore and a net worth of (₹209.50 crore). The investment is classified as a related party transaction but is being conducted on an arm's length basis. Info Edge clarified that its promoter, promoter group, and group companies have no interest in this specific investment.
The fresh capital will empower SIHL to pursue investment prospects, such as contributing to alternative investment funds (AIFs), and cover general corporate needs. The completion of this investment is anticipated within 30 days of the approval date. Shares of Info Edge closed marginally lower on February 17, 2026, at ₹1,124.10 on the NSE.
