IndiGo has announced a significant increase in its flight schedule to the Middle East, with plans to operate 252 weekly flights to six cities, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi, starting March 16 and continuing until March 28, 2026. This adjustment comes amid ongoing disruptions to airspace and aviation operations in the region.
While IndiGo is resuming operations to destinations like Saudi Arabia and Oman, flights to Doha, Kuwait, Bahrain, Dammam, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Sharjah will remain suspended until March 28, 2026. These network adjustments are expected to lead to an increase in airfares across all IndiGo flights.
Passengers can anticipate higher costs, with new fuel charges implemented across various flight routes. For domestic and Indian subcontinent flights, the fuel charge will be ₹425. Services to the Middle East will incur a ₹900 charge, while flights to South East Asia, China, and Africa will see a ₹1,800 charge. European flights will have the highest fuel charge at ₹2,300.
