India's Milk Production Soars to 247 MT by 2025!

This growth solidifies dairy's dominant position within the ₹17.25 trillion livestock sector, contributing 65 percent of its total output.
The expansion of dairy farming is a key economic driver, influencing 16 percent of India's gross value added (GVA) and supporting nearly half of the population. Recognizing its importance, the Union Budget has allocated ₹6,153 crore towards animal husbandry, a 16 percent increase aimed at enhancing infrastructure and resources.
