India Ascends as Global Leadership Powerhouse

Archer & Bull, a global executive search firm, is substantially enhancing its India operations to meet the growing demand for leadership talent. The company, which has been active in India since 2015, plans to deepen its engagement across key sectors like technology, consumer goods, and fintech.

India currently accounts for approximately 10% of Archer & Bull's global revenue, a figure the firm intends to double in the next year. This expansion is timely, as India is experiencing a robust leadership hiring cycle fueled by digital advancements and the growth of Global Capability Centers (GCCs).

Industry projections indicate that India's executive hiring market expanded by nearly 9-10% in FY25. This growth is particularly strong in roles related to digital, AI, product development, and organizational transformation, reflecting India's evolving status as a significant talent hub.

Rajat Mehra, Founder Partner at Archer & Bull, stated that India is emerging as a global leadership powerhouse. He anticipates that digital-first enterprises, exponential GCC expansion, and Indian leaders taking on international roles will shape leadership hiring trends over the next five years.

Mehra highlighted the increasing need for leaders who possess agility, cross-cultural competence, and transformation expertise. He believes that leadership quality will be a critical differentiator for business growth in the current market phase, making this expansion a strategic move for the firm.
