These centers collectively offer 82 million square feet of managed space, indicating a strong demand for agile work solutions. Flexible space operators are becoming crucial partners for companies scaling operations efficiently.
The market demonstrates a notable consolidation, as the top 10 operators collectively manage 67% of the total flexible workspace stock. Bengaluru emerges as the frontrunner, boasting 33.2% of the country's flexible space, followed by Delhi-NCR and Pune. Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata also contribute to this expanding market.
Looking ahead, the total stock of flexible workspaces is projected to surpass 100 million square feet in Tier-1 cities by 2026. This expansion is driven by the increasing need for enterprise-grade infrastructure and flexible solutions, particularly by Global Capability Centers (GCCs), which now occupy over 475 coworking centers.
