India's aviation growth is fostering opportunities for SMEs in areas like private charter services and pilot training. Two companies, FlySBS Aviation and Flywings Simulator Training Centre, have met stringent financial quality screens, highlighting their potential within this expanding ecosystem.
FlySBS Aviation, based in Chennai and incorporated in 2020, is a private jet charter company. It reported a remarkable 111% sales CAGR and a 160% profit CAGR. The company is expanding its fleet by acquiring pre-owned aircraft and has a significant international presence, with 86.7% of its FY26 revenue generated from international travel.
Flywings Simulator Training Centre, established in 2011 and located in Gurugram, offers aviation training and MRO services. It boasts a 33% sales CAGR and a 39% profit CAGR. Flywings is investing in new simulator capacity near Mumbai and developing a Flight Training Organisation, alongside expanding its maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) business.
While both companies show strong performance, risks associated with SME stocks, such as liquidity and price volatility, persist. Future success for FlySBS and Flywings will depend on effective execution of their expansion plans, regulatory approvals, and sustained growth translating into financial returns.
