India's Airlines Soar to Europe: Rome & London Flights Added

Air India announced it will resume non-stop flights between Delhi and Rome from March 25, 2026, operating four times weekly. Complementing this, IndiGo will introduce direct flights from Delhi to London Heathrow on February 2, 2026, flying five times a week. These flights will utilize Boeing 787 aircraft on a wet lease, offering a dual-class configuration. This expansion increases IndiGo's total weekly flights to London to twelve, building on its existing Mumbai-London service.
These strategic network expansions by both Air India and IndiGo underscore a growing demand for international travel between India and Europe for commerce, tourism, and personal visits. IndiGo has notably added ten new international destinations and over 30 new routes in the past year, alongside its new service to Athens.
