The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, in collaboration with the World Economic Forum (WEF), has officially launched the India Skills Accelerator. This strategic platform is designed to identify and scale innovative solutions and public-private partnerships.
The accelerator's primary objective is to address critical skill gaps within India's workforce. It will bolster the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) ecosystem, ensuring that skilling initiatives align with the dynamic demands of industry and the global economy.
Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Jayant Chaudhary stated that this initiative strengthens coordinated action. It aims to address current and emerging skill gaps, enable outcome-based skill financing, and promote lifelong learning in alignment with global labor market needs.
