This initiative aligns with broader national objectives, including the recently unveiled National Critical Mineral Mission (NCMM), aimed at achieving self-reliance in critical minerals. It also follows Prime Minister Narendra Modi's earlier announcement regarding the opening of the nuclear power sector to private players, reinforcing the country's energy security goals.
