Excitement is building among fans regarding a proposed new In-N-Out Burger location at the Northridge Mall. A city council staff meeting on September 8 presented plans for a 3,890 square-foot restaurant, complete with a drive-thru, to be situated on 1.18 acres. This new eatery would be placed between a Panera Bread and a Chick-fil-A, joining a recently opened Raising Cane.
However, the proposal is not yet finalized. Documents from the meeting indicate that the restaurant application is considered "incomplete," meaning the project has not received official approval. The addition would offer a more convenient option for residents, as Salinas currently hosts only one In-N-Out.
The existing In-N-Out in Salinas, with its dining room and drive-through, is located off Highway 101. The next closest alternative for customers is approximately 13 miles away in Seaside, followed by another location in Gilroy, about 25 miles distant. In-N-Out has not yet officially commented on or announced this potential new site.
