ideaForge Technology reported a net loss of Rs 2.6 crore for the first quarter of FY27, marking an 89% reduction compared to the previous year's Rs 23.56 crore loss. This contrasts with a profit of Rs 60 crore in the sequential fourth quarter of FY26. Revenue for the quarter saw a substantial year-on-year increase of 436.6%, reaching Rs 68.58 crore, though it declined by 51.3% from the preceding quarter.
Global supply chain issues and component availability have impacted operations since the fourth quarter of FY26. Despite these challenges, ideaForge's indigenous UAV fleet has surpassed one million customer flights. The company's current order book stands at over Rs 300 crore, with deliveries expected to be fulfilled by the third quarter of FY27 as per customer timelines.
The company anticipates accelerated procurement activities in Q3 and Q4 of FY27, driven by higher operational procurement limits for Indian Defence Forces. ideaForge's CEO, Ankit Mehta, expressed confidence in the strong starting order book for FY27 and the commitment to meeting delivery schedules.
